Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any Ski school starting on a Wednesday in La Plagne?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi All, looking for some help please!
I'm booked to go to La Plagne in April with my Daughter (6) and it'll be her first ski trip, though she's done indoor lessons over here. We've booked to go Tuesday 8th April for a week, and I didn't realise ski schools only normally run Sunday/Monday to Friday. We need to find a ski school that will allow her to join on the Wednesday. Anyone have any ideas? She's had about 6 hours of lessons so far and can do snowplough turns and control her speed, but has never been on a mountain before. I guess we could book provate lessons but I can't really afford the extra expense, and I don't think she'd enjoy it as much.
Thanks for the help, any suggestions welcome!
Matt

@Mattsville, Hmm, not sure, but try asking https://www.oxygene.ski give them a call, they speak English.
If not then a private lunchtime lesson is the way to go, compare prices with the Various schools even ESF will find a good English speaker for a private. That week will be lovely and quiet (by LA Plagne standards) and so you should have a good choice of instructors.
Also worth calling https://limesnowsports.com they are expensive but you get what you pay for. They are a husband and wife team and instruct full time so be prepared for a wait for a response. Again its a quiet week so Danni or Craig may give a little on price - you can but ask!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the help. Didn't get anywhere with these but ESF are allowing us to book 5 days and just come on the Wednesday. It's much cheaper than I expected though so don't mind paying for the 2 extra days.
