Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sunweb Ski Pass Early Pickup

 Poster: A snowHead

Hello, anyone have any experience of arriving early in resort and getting your ski pass from a Sunweb rep?

We're in Val Thorens early and have the option to get a pass for the day we arrive, but their chat can't confirm it'll be available in the morning. (Which would make it an odd thing to offer). I think the office team just don't have any idea what happens in resort.

Last few times I have had WhatsApp contact with resort reps ahead of arrival.

They NORMALLY want you to go to a welcome meeting in some resorts. In Flaine when we were quite a distance from the location I asked if I could collect early, had made arrangements but they weren't ready on time. The rep came and met me at the Accomodation which was very good of her.

On other occasions they have been left at lift pass desks for me to collect (e.g last week of season in Mayrhofen that happened once).

Been with sunweb 3 times. Every time they give you a liftpass 'voucher' a few days before travel. You print this out and take it to any lift pass office in resort. They then give you your passes.

I would say as long as you can find an open station you are good to go.

As oper Boarderfarce, we just got a "voucher" which we took to the lift pass office. Very simple.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Don't buy the extra though Sunweb, unless it's spectactularly cheaper, just get their standard 6 day offering and on the morning of arrival, boots on and skis in hand, rock up to the lift pass office and buy a day ticket (or afternoon depending on arrival time) to take the uncertainty out of it.

Thanks all, it's not spectacularly different £12 for the day. But all good if it's this voucher system. Sunweb do seem to have a fairly good discount with the 3TV. I was going to just load the card myself and I'm a regular to VT and have a pass already but the discount was too good to pass up.
