Has anyone.been to Les Arcs this year or last year and happened to have been to Les Enfanrs Terribles restaurant at the top of the Vallandry cable car? I'm rying to find out the cost of their self service spaghetti bolognese and a lasagne and hot chocolate and a vin chaud. . I tried to find their menu on their website but they don't show one.

Couldn't tell you the prices exactly, but they're not out of line with the rest of the resort. The Trois Saveurs across the other side of the piste is probably slightly cheaper, but it's pennies in the overall scheme of things.

@sportybarbara, went last March - as has been said, prices in line with others across resort, but obviously these are all fairly pricey!
It's a good place to stop in bad weather IMV as it has the large covered area

I have no idea but based on the name alone will be avoiding the place if I ever had the misfortune to ski past it.

@homers double, I would say that's your loss then, it's been there for years and is in a good location and is a nice place to stop.

Had a chocolat chaud stop there at 1115 today, looks a cracking place to me and the chocky was excellent. Not eaten there but certainly would give it a go. Good spot in the Vallandry side of the resort.

We had lunch there 3 times in January and it was excellent every time. Prices similar to other mountain restaurants.

Would you prefer to be slapped with a copy of the book or the film?
Alternatively you could just take the same amount of opium as Cocteau had had when he wrote it and live in your own imaginarily claustrophobic world whereby restaurant names outside of your erotically charged hothouse would be of little consequence.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

It's where we traditionally end up when we are based in Valandry - whether we ski in La Plagne (and take one of the last Vanoise Express) or more in Les Arcs. Makes for a nice post pub last downhill!

Yes, I was about to say the name was a rather highbrow literary reference.

I wouldn’t have got a literary reference in a million years, it’s just a nice and convenient place to stop

Had lunch here two days ago, galette completes frites salade and a drink for €15. Galette was cooked fresh as you’d expect and was super tasty, service was great very friendly lady at the counter. No complaints at all and would recommend and return in future.

We also like it, and went several times in January. I don’t recall it being an outlier in terms of price. I do recall friendly service - eg sometimes we were greeted when we arrived. And when we’re busy they took our names so they could bring our meals to us rather than having to hang around by the till which was helpful.
