Has anyone any recent experience of using TUI twilight check in at Birmingham for a ski flight? Just wondering if it’s reliable enough that we’ll get reunited with our bags & skis the other end. Have used Jet2 successfully before but it wasn’t for a ski flight. Cheers

A group of us used it for our New Year trip and it was excellent. No queues to drop off the bags and a nice easy trip through security the next day. All the bags were present and correct when we landed.

We did it at New Year - all worked fine, and no issues at the other end. I don't think it makes a difference for ski bags vs normal cases, as everything gets handed in to the oversized baggage desk.

I’ve done twilight check in at BHX twice this winter season. No problems both times.
If you park in the drop off car park in front of the terminal you can call in to the porter cabin after dropping off your bags and explain that you used twilight drop off - they will sort out for you to pay a reduced fee when you leave the car park.

Can report no issues with using the twilight baggage check-in at Gatwick.

Pleased to report it all worked very well & our bags also came out in the first lot at Turin so a bonus. Sadly, can never say the same about ski delivery there ………
