Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Overnight parking val d’isere

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
We’ve delayed our return to the uk from this Saturday to the following day to avoid the traffic congestion we experienced on the way here last week. Unfortunately our parking booking in val centre expires on the Saturday we were supposed to leave and can’t be extended as the car park is full. It expires at 23.59 on the Saturday and we’ll be leaving at 8am the following day.

Does anyone have any short term parking suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

One of the other car parks? We use La Daille outdoors and that’s usually got space.

(Regretting the choice this evening but hey…)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The car park outside the Supermarket in La Daille is free overnight and next to the ski bus to/from Val d’Isere (well it was last year).

Thanks for both the suggestions. Managed to secure a spot underneath an apartment near to us overnight.

Lesson learned. Just because there appeared to be plenty of vacant spaces in the underground centre car park doesn’t mean you can’t book them!

For future reference for anyone that's interested, even though the websites said Val Centre parking was full, when i came to leave on the saturday evening the display outside was stating there were loads of available spaces for people who just turn up and pay.

For further reference, Val Centre must be the dustiest car park i've ever parked in! When we parked i'd noticed some of the other cars were absolutely filthy and i just assumed that they'd been there all season. However after 6 days in that car park, our car was also covered in a thick layer of dust.
