One thing I will say is that you should not have a Folie in a location where it is not bleeding obvious how to ski back down.
That said as I recall there has been more than one death from people failing to walk home from the bar in resort.
I have definitely done stupid things (not sure we need to compare levels of stupid here) and have a great deal of sympathy for the deceased, their family and friends.

A lot of folks here making the assumption that the victim was drunk, some with really damning and prejudicial comments. He may have been but I’m yet to see anything which evidences that. It may come out during the police investigation, certainly toxicology and witness statements will prove if alcohol is involved but many people party these days who are tee total and sober. Plenty of sober people make poor choices and have accidents.
Maybe he was stone cold sober but slipped on ice and concussed himself then wandered off in the wrong direction without his full faculties, who knows at this point?
So everyone passing judgement without the facts maybe just check yourselves. But I suppose it wouldn’t be SH’s or any other social media platform without people jumping to conclusions would it.
When it’s confirmed he was drunk or that excess alcohol contributed to his sad demise then throw your stones if it makes you feel better. Until then maybe show some dignity and respect to his friends and family and stop spouting speculation and looking down your nose at the poor guy.
