Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Replacement Low Volume Liners

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have Atomic CS130 boots and they have been excellent for the last 2.5 seasons but they are now getting packed out and my feet are sore as the heel pocket is not holding my foot where it should.... The mimic WC liners were fine to start with and I think that around 24 weeks is about par for liners but I was wondering what else is out there and in stock that might be a better replacement?

I tried Zipfit gara liners in a previous pair of LV boots and they were too bulky so I'm looking at the Corsa's if Zipfit are the option. I'm not looking to spend that sort of money though.

I've seen the intuition FX race online and they are a good price but shipping from the states is $85 per pair. Does anyone stock them in the UK or in the Alps?

Other than that.... Sidas? Anything else?

Ta!

@Klamm Franzer, Have you asked CEM if he can order replacement Atomic liners for you?

@big_ben, they're my local ski shop and the only viable option stocked is the Fischer/Zipfit LV liner at £360. Other LV liners would be a special order.

@rjs, replacement Atomic liners are not a problem, I was exploring other options really. This is looking like the obvious answer though....

Get a zipfit if you can get them to work and rationalise that the cost will amortise as you get 300 days from them.

@Klamm Franzer, I've got a pair of hawx ultra xtd from pre grip walk days, and I've ripped the liner by pulling on it too hard. Do you think a current mimic liner would go in? This is a question i'd really like to address to the guy on another website who is something in Atomic (I know, that really doesn't mean much, but he's got a name like ???)

Update: After a less than comfortable week with lots of faffing in gondolas and restaurants, I ordered some new Mimic WC liners which were on the doorstep when I got home. First thing I noticed was that the heel pocket on my old liners has disappeared! There were a couple of small lumps which weren't doing much apart from digging into my heels and causing grief. Secondly, there is so much more padding in all areas..... Go figure!

Fingers crossed for a comfortable couple of weeks coming up!
