 Poster: A snowHead

This may seem like a dumb question but hear me out.
I seem to recall at certain places in Austria I've been to your lift pass would activate mid afternoon the day before what you'd booked and paid for? Effectively getting a extra hours of free skiing if you'd been on an early morning flight.
All being well we could arrive early afternoon the day of arrival and have passes included with the accommodation via booking with SunWeb. Are the passes loaded with the days you've paid for and activate when you first swipe them? For that scenario we'd loose a full day off what we've already paid for so not worth doing.
Is there any such arrangement in Tignes? I reckon best case scenario we could arrive for about 1300hrs, we'll have our own gear so could get 2-3 hours.
Back up options are to pay for an additional half day or skin up and get warm up in or just kick back with a cold beer and enjoy the sunshine..... (coming in April this year).

You should talk to Sunweb. Tignes has a 6=7 policy whereby the 6 day pass price at €426 covers 7 days but whether that offer applies via a pass bought on your behalf by a TO is anybody's guess. You may have been given a discount on a a 6 day pass price instead?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@Grizwald, with Sunweb, I've found you can tell exactly what has been booked by looking in your account. They seem to be very accurate about this stuff.

@Grizwald, not sure if this helps but I just came back from Tignes last weekend. Lift pass was provided at cost by the TO for £289 without Carre Neige. That had to be bought as an extra at the Maison de Tignes on the first morning. The pass didn't need any activation but had the start date set for the first Sunday, I then skied until early afternoon on the following Saturday using the 6 days for 7 offer which comes as standard with all 6 day passes, I think. So if I understand what you are asking, you would need your pass to start on the day you arrive and then use the "7th day" to finish off your week on presumably the following Friday.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

It may well be that Sunweb have a deal with the lift company for lift passes that are only 6 days and not the 7 days for the cost of 6 ones that customers can buy themselves.

I used a Tignes/VDI pass, supplied via Sunweb, a few weeks ago. I didn't need the 7th day but, at the turnstiles, the screens suggested that it would have been available. From memory, I think it also confirmed that Carre Neige was included (added by me, not Sunweb), presumably for instant confirmation by medical staff.
