Doesn’t sound much like to do with skiing. More like a photo opp/selfie gone wrong?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yup, as said seems little to do with skiing.

Well given the selfie culture and the ease of falling through cornices or off icy rocks it seems it at least is a tangential risk associated with skiing - much like deaths from drowning, hypothermia or cliff falls after too much apres indulgence.

So, it wasn’t “Skier killed”. But rather, death in ski resort then.

Surely that’s a positive for all of us?
I realise it’s a dreadful story, but death NOT by skiing is better than the alternative

Oh, I don’t know. Given that skiing is one of my favourite things in the world I wouldn’t mind expiring whilst doing it … preferable to wasting away in a bed for sure.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

@Blackblade, I suppose you are right (with the caveat that it wasn’t premature). One of my elderly neighbours died on the dance floor, I thought that was a rather lovely way to go.

 You know it makes sense.

Yeah, there are more than a few caveats to that statement that I omitted in the interests of brevity !
