Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting from the bus to the chalet (Les Gets)

I'm looking at a trip to Les Gets next month, transferring from Geneva to LG with Alpine Fleet for about €60 return. The chalet I'm looking at is apparently 2km from the bus stop, which is a bit far to walk with my gear. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to do that last little bit of the trip? And also where in LG the coach will drop me off? Google has an idea bu I can't see anything that looks like a bus station there.

Hire your skis at Berhet and you can leave your stuff there. It's a lovely shop and right at the bottom of the slopes.

Of course there's a free bus around, thanks! Really should have thought to check for that. Any info on where the bus station that Alpine Fleet would drop me off at is? I could just wing it on the day but if anyone knows that'd be good Smile

The main lift stop, village centre, tourist office and Mont Chery gondola are all within a 4 or 5 minute walk. Your coach is bound to stop at one of those and all the navettes stop at both lift stations

There is a bus station in les Gets. It is about 200m from Mont Chery gondola on the main through road direction Taninges. It is difficult to spot as it is just a shop / office which is never open, but room to park a bus and a small sign ' Gare '.

I booked this today. Alpine Fleet have 5 drop off locations in Les Gets and you choose which you want to get dropped off at during the booking process. Helpfully there's one less than 100m from the chalet I've booked into Smile
