I’m looking to do a lesson or two on my trip in March. Can anyone recommend a good instructor for an advanced intermediate adult skier?

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

A Snowhead who lives in the valley recommended the school Prosneige for one to one lessons, this was April 23. Fantastic.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We used Prosneige earlier this month and the instructor was called Remi, he was awesome and between my wife, my son and I we had a real mix of abilities. I'd definitely recommend asking if he's available, he made everything fun and pushed everyone further than they expected to progress.

Used a chap called Matteo (through Maison Sport) a couple of years ago for two lessons for my partner. Her technique and confidence came on leaps and bounds in the 4 hours with him. Lovely guy as well. The only complaint I'd have is that he is outrageously handsome with beautiful chocolate brown touselled Italian locks and dark eyes so she rather fell in love with him.
Teaches skiing all winter and spends his summers teaching windsurfing on the Cote D'azur. What a life!

I had a great experience with ESF in Meribel. A group of five of us had Gregor (from Scotland) as our guide and he was excellent. He knew the mountain really well, and even though he was hired as a guide, was happy to offer us tips and instruction when asked (he’s also a certified instructor). I’ve been skiing for over 50 years and learned on ice and did some racing, but that was a long time ago. Last few decades more of a powder and off piste skier in the US, so piste skiing on firm hard pack is something I haven’t dealt with for a long time, nor the skis that you use in those conditions.
So there I was basically re-learning how to ski on Head shaped skis. After watching me for a few runs I asked him for any comments/suggestions and he gave me a couple of small but important changes to what he saw me doing. It was game-changing for me - my carve and efficiency improved greatly and made skiing the firm stuff much more doable and fun.
