Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Lift pass cards

Looking for some advice. We are off to Morzine at the weekend and looking to order our lift passes online. We have lift passes from La Plagne Paradiski - can I use them in PDS. I presume I can as long as I enter the correct lift pass WTP number when purchasing online. Thank you

You can use them if they are same type of card - see this thread

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You can give it a go but I think they are generally resort specific.

You can buy online and pick up from vending machines in Morzine though. There are machines outside both the Super-Morzine and Pleney lift stations but while you should be able to pick up a full PdS pass from either you might need to use the machines outside the Pleney if it's just a Morzine-Les Gets pass.

I've just used a zermatt ski pass in tignes for a week. If the long number is the same format, starting 01-1614..... then yes they can be used. Courmayeur pass also worked

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I think i read that there are 2 different systems in use? Cards should work at any resort with that system. The code gives it away apparently.

I've got loads of cards from various resorts over the years. I didn't know you can reuse although wondered if you could in the same resort. Is there a discount or something for doing this? I seem to recall in Saalbach you could get some money back if you took your pass back at the end.

After all it is free Go on u know u want to!

@Boofont, there's not usually a discount but lots of resorts give money back when you return them.

i have many from various resorts, and you can reuse them. But there are two types, skidata und AXEN or AXess ?? (no idea now)
I think from Ski Data starts with 1-XXX...... etc and the other are not like this. They are .......XXXX-X or something like thiks.

But when you try to reload them u see if the code do not pass or pass.

btw i used cards from La Plagne i think (or Les Men) for Alp d Huez, and from Stubai for Lenzerheide, Flaine etc etc.
Not Problem at all.

@Boofont, though there may be a discount, I thought the advantage was you could buy online and it was applied/linked to your existing card/number: Then you didn't have to collect a new card from a machine/office or have it posted to you.

@SnoodyMcFlude, will look in to it! I could be sitting on millions!

@adithorp, thanks - very good point ref not having to collect a new card, but I had no idea you could do that. Makes so much sense to re-use.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I've got some cards from Japan that I think can be used in a few European resorts, can't remember if I actually have used them though. My worry is always that the payment goes through but then the card doesn't work

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

you can go with the receipt to the ski pass office and you will have new cards.
It happens to me with ski tickets for Pizol.
I have a Q Code, but from the pick up automat, came nothing. I went to the Office and i had the ski cards from there
