Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cheers

Hi
@AlIre2024
, did you find one? I'm unlikely to be skiing today so thought I'd take the opportunity to get some looseness in my left boot sorted (I just can't get my left calf tight/snug - and have resorted to stuffing a piste map between the shell and the rear of the liner). It's not a massive problem but I may as well get it looked at... but I'd rather have it looked at by somebody who actually knows what they're doing.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

My friend went to the Intersport next to the SuperU in Bourg with ill fitting boots ..they manipulated them successfully and even lent him a pair while they were working on them ..he was very pleased

. I'm in Arc 1800 so might pop down to Bourg later if no recommendations for 1800 (or 1600 I guess) come in!
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks everyone. I ended up at Intersport in Le Charvet (Arc 1800). It's the one on the upper level, opposite Chez Boubou. I was served by a guy called Nick, I guess I'll find out when I actually try to ski with the adjusted boots, but he took his time, was patient, asked lots of questions and tried multiple things before settling on a recommendation... I got a good sense that he knew what he was doing.
