Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Poster: A snowHead
Dear all,

I am looking at booking a private transfer for 6 people from Geneva airport to La Clusaz. Found this company online, I wonder if it is legit?
alpsholidaytransfers.com

operates also as
3valley-transfers.com

Any experiences?

Thanks!

No direct experience but their Ts&Cs specify your contract is subject to Latvian law, and that they are an agent for unspecified third parties of their own choosing to whom they pass on all liability.... Confused

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Snowcompare is worth a visit. Have used CoolRunnings and Transfers4Yo booked through them

Last year we went from GVA to La Clusaz with Alps2Alps. Driver was a little delayed due to the French farmers blocking the roads around GVA, but we actually arrived in La Clusaz earlier than I expected. Decent modern van and decent communication. Return was fine too.

A friend travelled back with Aravis Shuttle instead (different flight to the rest of us), and said he got the van to himself the whole way, for only 50euro. Might be worth looking into - I think they do private transfers too. Edit: looks like their website for private transfers is
https://allotaxi74.com/

No experience of the other companies you mention.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We used Action Transfers a couple of times (Flaine and Avoriaz) - first time was on a package arranged by Heidi.com and 2nd time we booked direct. I think they are mostly business to business (maybe Heidi is their biggest customer) and their booking system isn't the prettiest but price and service was good.
