Not all fresh snow is glorious pow. Some days are good for you rather than good. Suspect they are great for ACL surgeons though.

Ahh, I avoid Billy Bragg as much as possible so that one goes straight over my head.
No wet cement here, just foggy and a mixture of windscraped and knee deep drifts that you can't see.

In 3V the fresh snow was fairly light, with below freezing temps last few days. On many pistes it was interspersed with polished sheets and ice, making it interesting, especially with variable visibility.

NO! It’s been the best morning’s skiing I’ve had in a long time. Unlike yesterday, the fresh snow is quite light and first thing was deep in many places. I can’t recall having face shots on piste anywhere other than Japan.
It will be one of the best days of the season for me, I suspect.
