Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi, due to a bereavement earlier this year, my husband has decided he can’t do Christmas at home. As we have an 18 year old son, we have decided to try and get a skiing holiday over Christmas and New year. (Austria, Bavarian)
We are hoping for an apartment in a hotel or a hotel room with 2 double beds in and a pool and gym available to use. In a ski area, suitable for beginners is fine. Non-ski activities are also important so we can fill the 10 days and nights. The view is important to us and would like to stay somewhere we can look down on a beautiful alpine village with snow covered alpine type buildings. I saw Leogang online and the view looks ideal but not sure if it has enough to do. I can’t even start looking for accommodation until I can tie the location down! We will be driving from Calais but prepared to overnight stop.
We would like a lively apres ski so our son can enjoy the dj’s and party atmosphere but also nice village to look around with shops etc too. Christmas market would be great, somewhere to go for Christmas Day and great fireworks over a lake or something with music on New Year’s Eve would be lovely.
We like bowling, ice skating, toboagging, and alpine coaster and other winter activities would be great. We also would like to play nails in a bar and a shuffleboard!!
Quite specific requirements I know but if anyone can advise it would be very much appreciated!!
Also, we will have a very well behaved cockerpoo with us too!!
Thanks everyone x
