Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Tignes Ski Pass cost

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Evening,
Just pricing up a 6 day skiing holiday for the Tignes- Val d'isere ski area.
A 1 day adult pass is 71 euros x 6 = 426
If I buy a week's pass, its 426

Whats the incentive to buy a weeks pass, other than queuing every day.
The daily pass gives us the option to save money if the weather is poor and we don't ski

Am I missing a promotion?

Thanks

@mjh1972, You get an extra day with the 6 day pass, it is actually a 7 day one.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We don't get to the resort until around 1pm on the Saturday, so I don't think we'll ski by the time we check in etc. That's the only advantage I could see. I thought there would be some family/group discount but I'm guessing they don't need to discount

Doesn't the weekly pass include extras such as free entry to the Lagon swimming complex these days?

@mjh1972, plenty of time to go out for a ski. It's a great way to check your kit is all ok. We find it's also good as occupies the time until we can check into accommodation, which is usually not until around 1600. Obviously if the weather was dreadful I wouldn't bother but I can't imagine getting to a ski resort with 3+ hours left until the lifts close and not going out for a bimble.

@mjh1972, on the flip side if you weren't interested in the incentives from a weekly pass and the weather is looking iffy (or you just wanted a day off from skiing), then daily passes may save you money.

It's easy enough to buy and recharge online in the morning before you head out if you wanted to go that way.
