Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

For a few years now we have offered fellow snowheads a £50 First timer discount on our Group clinics at The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead. Post covid the Centre has reduced capacity in the wintertime so we stopped running group clinics over the winter period Dec - Mar. To keep our discount programme running all year round we have opened the voucher to include any session with us whether it be a private lesson or group clinic Inside, or, a ski coaching holiday Out in the Alps.

Are there no longer any development clinics? I was just thinking I should book myself onto some but don't see any on the website.

I'm always tempted but also disappointed that my Level is still Early Intermediate despite 10 years of skiing 2 or more weeks a year!

@Dubmuffin, how much do you ski in between holidays?

I wouldn't let your level bother you, joining the guys for a session might help you get beyond your level!

@Dubmuffin, do it!! I was recommended on my first post on here to do an Improvers’ clinic which you can do at any level as it really is private lessons in parallel.

@olderscot, We have put them on hold for a while as they have been somewhat taken over by our Tune Up clinics which have proved a lot more popular. The centre is running about double the number of bumps sessions and we have added quite a few more Moguls clinics. Might put the Development clinics back on in Sept Oct Nov..

@Dubmuffin, A few focussed sessions in the off season usually does wonders for intermediates stuck on a plateau. Give one a whirl Smile
