Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My younger son is turning 11 on Boxing Day and we will be in Cervinia. Any recommendations for a nice place to order a cake from and any nice kids friendly restaurants with good deserts? Thank you

Aren't all Italian restaurants kid friendly? Hope he has a lovely day.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

If they can't provide a cake, a wee word in advance and they won't mind you bringing one in. But most Italian restaurants I know will provide sparklers, cheesy birthday music, turn all the lights off and everyone has to join in. Which is fine for an 11 year old but gets a bit wearing at 58
And on deserts, there's usually (and a sign of quality or not) a fridge by the bar with a selection of frozen treats. If you like that sort of thing. And a chilled counter full of panna cotta and the like.
Personally, I prefer cheese.

Thank you both. To clarify, l want to buy a cake from a bakery as it is needed before dinner - we have a somewhat bizarre family tradition of a cake breakfast in bed on a birthday morning;) so in addition to a restaurant, which probably any will do l am looking for a bakery recommendation
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
