Looks like she’s certainly aiming for it though.
“I’m trying not to get too far ahead of myself because I have quite a few hoops to jump through,” Vonn said via the New York Times. “Obviously, I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t hope to be racing. I have aspirations. I love to go fast. How fast can I go? I don’t know.

I was never a big fan, but Vonn's comeback is an amazing story. To be competitive in speed events at 40 is incredible. To do that on an artificial knee having been "cut up for scrap" 5 years ago is just a whole new level.
And it gave me the chance to "amuse" my kids over lunch on our recent ski jollies with the story of Lyndsey's cows.
