Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I am looking for suggestions on where to stay in Niseko probably Feb 10-13. Cheap, not hostel unless private room or capsule. Any suggestions? I am currently planning on renting a car, but not looking forward to cleaning the snow off everyday.

You might be lucky and it wouldn’t snow on those days Puzzled

For cheap and with a car - Kutchan. Niseko Moiwa Lodge 834 capsules are cool, though it is on the side of the main ski area with all it’s + and -

Now that I read my post again I see I didn't write it clearly. Let me try again. I am not interested in capsules. I am also not interest in hostel unless I can get my own room.

Ecolodge via Booking.com not bad. Room small but modern/clean/good atmosphere and helpful in Reception.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

If you are not wedded to Niseko consider staying in Otaru and skiing the local hills which are generally less busy and will certainly be less busy on your midweek dates. Otaru is a cool and authentically Japanese town. The local resorts are quite which gives a better opportunity to get at fresh snowfall.
If you are wedded to Niseko ignore this post please.

Thanks for the tip. Doing 2 nights in Sapporo, 3 nights in Otaru, 3 nights in Niseko, 6 nights at Rusutsu. Unfortunately, that puts Otaru over the weekend, but my friend from Hawaii is almost a pure beginner and needs the practice at a smaller place first. I will be doing Rustutsu alone. I also have the Ikon pass so Niseko lift ticket is free for me.

Black diamond lodge - hostel vibe with shared bathroom facilities but you can book your own room.
It’s in niseko village and 5 min walk to the lift!
Cool chilled place owned by Clayton who also owns Hokkaido backcountry club.
