Hi @dor81! Welcome to snowHeads!
Lech is not a cheap place to stay, so you might struggle with that budget in peak season.
Have you tried the Lech Tourist Office, Booking.com, Airbnb?

Food is your last concern ATM.
Check Lech accommodation prices and options on the local website.
Choosing 16 to 22 will get you a bit more options but the prices are for a room of 2 persons |
My airtickets are from 17/2 to 22/2.
Thank you for your help

@dor81, if you are looking for a village, perhaps you should consider Stuben? Haven't been for a while but it always used to be magical

@dor81,
*1600 euro: not in Lech
*That's high season, most places prefer full week (sat-sat) bookings, even in the surrounding villages. Not impossible, but difficult
*Lech is rather isolated. Villages that might have accommodations in that price: Steeg, Schröcken, Warth (but Warth not likely either anymore). But from these villages you can't reach Lech by road in winter, only on ski's, via Warth-Schröcken. So, no dinner in Lech
*Alternatively, the Klostertal villages like Klösterle and Dalaas. 20-30 minute drive to Lech via Arlberg and Flexenpass (other villages like Zürs, St.Christoph, Zug, St.Anton and also Stuben: all expensive)

I see that Klostertal villages are more affordable. The road from dalaas to lech or stuben is always open???

Is that €1600 per person or in total?
There are not really any nearby villages, Zürs is smaller and more expensive. You might be better off looking in the Stanzertal (St Anton), you might be lucky in St Anton though the cheaper places are now a rarity but try looking at Pettneu.
The access road to Lech (Flexenpass) is practically always open but does occasionally get closed in very heavy snow so Dalass etc is possible and there are regular buses from Langen, not so many from further down the valley. If you do stay in Bludenz or Dalass then a hire car probably better, free parking in Zürs.
Biggest problem is finding reasonably priced accommodation for less than a week, you will find options but likely in the €500 / person / night range. Cheaper options likely to want week bookings

@munich_irish, if it would be 1600 euro/pp, the budget would be quite good, even for Lech

@dor81, no, that probably is the Arlberg Tunnel. You don't need that for Lech, you will not use the tunnel, you will drive via Langen>Stuben>Zürs>Lech, no toll there.
(But anyway you do need a vignette for Austrian Highways!)

I was scared because google map says that in the road Lechtal Str./B198 there is toll fee thank you.

FWIW the place I stay at in Lech (Haus Mallaun) is nice but rather modest, and I just checked and its around €135/night pp double occ., breakfast only. If I did the math right, that's still 2X the budget.

I once stayed in Dalaas (not to be confused with Dallas! ) and used it as a base to acccess Lech, St Anton, etc. http://fewo-klostertal.at/ Nice owner and apartment €100-125 per night for 4pax
Stuben, Langen, Klosterle, Wald, Dalaas, even Braz are ways to avoid premium pricing of Zurs & Lech, if you don't mind the inconvenience of a commute.
You can drive up and park at car parks in Stuben https://maps.app.goo.gl/ReZzMHYVjF1EmT4b8 Zurs https://maps.app.goo.gl/RiD3qd15YeQ2yq8Y8 or Lech https://maps.app.goo.gl/rfDkPSAzC4ZeB1dP7
No tolls unless you use the Arlberg Tunnel. Flexenpass road is usually kept open as it's the only way into Zurs and Lech in winter. If you have snow tyres on your rental, you should be OK. Obviously if there is bucketloads of snow, it may stay closed a bit to clear it, but might be better not to be stuck there when you need to leave!!
There's also the worthwhile local ski area of Sonnenkopf nearby. The ski hire Milanovic here https://maps.app.goo.gl/hv97xAoA724jJwZe7 is waaay cheaper than the Lech cartel and there's a top restaurant down the valley in Braz that has down to earth pricing too. https://g.co/kgs/dLL245D

You cannot access Lech from Warth via Lechtal Strasse in winter, the road is closed. Only way in winter is via Zurs on Flexenpass road

B198 starts at Alpe Rauz (were Flexenpass begins), and ends at Reutte. And as already mentioned before, its closed in winter between Lech-Warth. But there is no toll, not in summer, not in winter.

I'm sure they could do something (tunnel, avalanche protection, FFS they tunnelled service roads under the mountain at Oberlech!! ) to keep it open, but it probably suits the good burghers of Lech to maintain the exclusivity as an end of road tucked away resort |
Ever driven Lech-Warth in summer? It's an impossibly narrow road. You can't pass an upcoming bus or lorry. And it's hardly used anyway. Lechtal: very little inhabitants, very little tourism, equally Hinterer Bregenzerwald. A tunnel would never be economically viable. |
I guess many roads started off as paths and mule tracks and were widened and engineered over time as the need arose, but it probably made more sense to develop the access on the Arlberg side as the train line and main East-West corridor also developed on that side.

OP also asked about where to eat, and I'll let the Lechperts opine on that except to say that in high season you'll need reservations at the places you want to go to. (e.g. Schneggeri).
I've driven to Lech from MUC several times. Please take care to select Lech am Arlberg on the sat nav, lest you end up in Lech Falls, a lovely place about an hour out of your way, as I once did (I'd been awake for 24 hours at that point )

You will save a fortune staying there. Obviously a heavy snowfall could hamper plans to get over to Lech, but you wouldn't see much in Lech if it's snowing anyway.
There is a Hofer (Austrian Aldi) and a Lidl just off the expressway at Bludenz, so you can stock up on breakfast items https://maps.app.goo.gl/gWzJBiCyR4a6tEEU9 https://maps.app.goo.gl/3r5u2wFtPfyV56TUA
Lunch you can have on the mountain, depending on where you are skiing. Lots of huts scattered about.
Evening meal, the Gasthof Rossle in Braz is very nice with a very genial host. There's a pizzeria in Dalaas https://maps.app.goo.gl/o8mJrHSp35tikHCA6 Various other options in the villages along the valley, including in the town of Bludenz.

I would disagree that the best route from MUC is via Bregenz. If it is a week day and the roads are clear ie its not snowing it is probably worth using the Fernpass via Garmisch, weekends stick to the Autobahn via Kufstein & Innsbruck (or via Bregenz if you prefer it doesnt make a lot of odds). If the roads are clear (which they are most of the time) you can save a bit of money using the Arlberg pass rather than the Arlberg tunnel. You will need an Austrian vignette whichever route you take available on line from https://shop.asfinag.at/en (make sure to only use this site there are reseller sites which charge extra) get a 10 day one for your trip. Also available from lots of petrol stations etc. If snow is forecast get snow chains (the car will come with winter tyres), they are sometimes required above Stuben on the Flexenpass (learn how to put them on, best not to do it for the first time in a blizzard at the side of the road!). If you are doing day trips I would park in the big car park at Zürs - its free (not sure the Lech ones are). Stuben is better if you want to ski towards St Anton also avoids the pass if you havent got /nervous about using snow chains. One small point to be aware off is that there are restrictions on non Lech / Zürs guests if it is very busy ie they limit the number of ski passes available, probably not an issue but just be aware.

Good stuff, but Google maps is currently (weekday late evening) showing driving time MUC-Dalaas of 2h49 via Bregenz and 3h31 via Garmisch/Fern Pass. Shorter distance and more scenic that way, but slower roads and Arlberg issues (toll fee or high altitude). I suppose daytime traffic or roadworks could affect driving times on either route on the day of the journey.
Worth being aware of alternate routes in case of a problem on the day. There's not a huge amount in it, so maybe go one way and back the other, just for a change!
I didn't have any issues with restrictions on Lech or parking, when do they apply?
