Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Have a look at le grand domaine as well! You could visit st Francois from the Maurienne valley or Valmorel just before Moutiers and ski between the two valleys. Both resorts are a 30min drive uphill from the motorway or you can take a bus. Two resorts in one ski pass and I think they’re both quite different areas with their own charm. Valmorel might have more accomodation for one or two nights.

Just let me know if you have any questions about the area. I’ve learned skiing there and still come back every couple of years

How about Bourge St Maurice. Its a bit further to go but not a lot and you can ski LesArc, LaRosier, StFoy or ValD/Tignes from there.

Ok so an update on this, from the owner of the accommodation we are hiring in VT. At present and for the near foreseeable future it is not going to be possible to transfer with luggage ( or maybe just transfer ) from Orelle to VT as thee has been an accident at Cime Caron Cable Car recently during the construction of there new top of the mountain restaurant/experience centre. So when we go on the 5th there is a great possibility ( according to a guy that works on the lifts that the Cime Caron Cable will not be operating .

So we will have to drive around from our place of stay in saint -jean-de -maurieene.

Now we will have to look for a place to stay on route to Lyon for the night of the 11th with ski option on the 11th and 12th en route back to lyon airport. we fly around 8.30 PM so can get a virtually full day in on the last day Smile
