Nice one! Glad you got in so early without any mishaps!
Colfosco is a sheltered spot, so shouldn't be too bad tomorrow even if it's blowing a hooley up top. You might be able to get across to Corvara if it's not too bad.
Ignore what I said about Selva, you won't want to go over there on a windy day, the Sella Ronda links might be shut anyway
The Matthiaskeller underneath the Hotel Luianta is a good spot for a warm up, somehow they rebuilt an ancient wooden barn in there, very cosy on a cold snowy day!

Sorry for posting this in the weather thread but thought it might get lost in the general resort forum.
Hotel Astor have recommended Autosella Taxi for our transfer from Innsbruck to Val Gardena. They are coming out a little cheaper than Alp2Alps but I have no experience with them?

Have a sense from webcams its a *small* but superficial cover but definitely no harm. Wepowder appeared to correctly call the preference for the Southern Dolomites.

AutoDul are also worth a shout. They're all similar money unsurprisingly.

Most parts of the Alta Badia, Arabba, Val di Fassa and Val Gardena are now open for the season. The only sectors that haven’t yet been prepared are at Pralongia, Valon, Cherz, Maserai and Lagouzoi. These all sit off the Sella Ronda and, as we know we’ll, are quite exposed. traditionally they open a bit later.
The Marmalada glacier and Passo Pordoi also take longer to open than the other areas.
Also some of the Val di Fassa buses are not yet running.
Down at Kronplatz all the lifts are now running except the four drags. The Piculin bus back to La Villa also looks to be running today and even the ridiculously steep Piculin run is now showing as open.
The weather looks to stay cold into December and should be suitable for finishing off the snowmaking lower down, over the next week or so.

We have used four seasons taxi a few times since they were recommended to us pre covid
Innsbruck to Selva is €580. That will be a minibus for up to 7-8 people depending on baggage.

@Snow Hound,
We used ‘Travel Taxi Innsbruck’ last year for a return trip & they were reliable & on time both ways, their price currently is €504 for up to 8 including luggage/skis, they list several different vans, depending if you want more luxury.
Looking forward to our 1st of the season trip to Selva next week, looking good.

I’m here! The snow on Saturday night was epic. We saw quite a lot of grass driving in to Corvara on Saturday afternoon and by the morning everywhere was white. Cold and cloudy yesterday and mainly sunny and bright today. Snow cannons were blowing all day!

Tomorrow for me. Just picked up a lovely brand new pair of Rossignol Heros from MSA Rent in Arabba and deposited them in a locker at Burz lift, so all set. Only downside is Bar Peter being closed......

It’s really good, and not crowded. Not all the lifts and pistes are open though. So worth a check on the Alta Badia website before you head out!
