Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

La Plagne about 94ish. Luxury, half full coach and we arrived late in the evening. Stayed at the UCPA. It had been dumping it down for hours and continued through the night.

Up next day to glorious sunshine. Got upgraded from my beginners group to a proper ski group after 2 days. This was a big source of pride at the time but on reflection I went from being at the top of the beginners class to the bottom of a 'skiers' class. This was my initiation into tumble tots anonymous and gave me the chance to fall over, all over, the mtn instead of the limited area I'd been restricted to up until that point. At the time I was still playing rugby and this was reflected in my skiing style. If I hadn't fallen over so much I'd of been first down the hill everytime and if it wasn't hurting, then what was the point.

Anyway, after three days of brilliant sunshine, the snow was getting a little bit thin in places so it snowed all Wednesday night. Which was good of it. And this lasted the rest of the trip. I assumed the snow gods were always this benign and this was to be expected on every ski trip.

By the end of the week I was black and blue but it was nice of the local farmers to have a whip round for me on account of all the furrows my chin had been ploughing.

Nickski, Let me guess; rive every turn round with the body. Very very tiring, but nice badge and T shirt.

Nickski, A strong/violent (movement). Hauling your body around the turn. Making the turn with your body. Absolutley no technique whatsoever.
