Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

What's the internet access like in Arc 1800?

I may be able to stay a lot longer in resort if I can work remotely for 2 days out of 5. (5 or 6 weeks instead of max of 3)
I can work from a laptop and I have a large data allowance with EE and my 'add-on' can be data roaming.
I have asked my prospective landlord if internet is available in the apartment.

@Deveron53, we “had” internet access in our apartments in Cham Sud but my feeling is they had a single adsl connection shared between ~1,200 properties rolling eyes

We equipped them with Bouygues 4G boxes, no contract, €30 or so iirc, worked well.

I now get a decent 5G signal in my apartment in the Chantel part of Arc 1800. Not sure how fast and reliable it is as I mostly use the broadband internet in my apartment, but on the occasions when I have used the 5G it seems very fast.

I have 25GB per month with EE and have international roaming as an add-on.
What network would EE use in Arc 1800 so I can check coverage?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@Deveron53, I would think all of them?

Sorry, not sure as I’m with O2 and I can’t remember what network I connect to when I’m there.

@Deveron53, I think wifi in your apartment would be perfectly adequate. If not then there are plenty of bars and public areas in the resort with wifi. I have an apartment in Arc1600 and I'm afraid mobile phone data transfer is almost impossible there, whereas the apartment building gives 24 Mbps.
