Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Did you ski up on the glacier 3000 @jebroni3_16, or was it just as you have listed.
I have been getting fairly good reports on G3000 conditions.

@jebroni3_16, for various reasons we changed the plan slightly so it was Villars Saturday, Verbier Sunday and Leysin yesterday. A decent amount of snow fell on Saturday which enabled us to take the (closed) piste all the way down to the base station in Leysin and the cannons are firing everywhere. There's lots of prep going on so I imagine there will be plenty of pistes open this weekend everywhere in the eastern Vaud snowHead

You bought a really Magic Pass on Sunday snowHead

Sounds good. I didn't get a chance to check over the weekend how much was open, but noticed that the areas were all due to open officially from today. So, fingers crossed there will be plenty for me to do next week.

I haven't made it out to Switzerland yet! Fly to Geneva on Sunday afternoon and then getting train to Aigle that evening... he says hopefully.

Where did you get the image you've posted on that thread from please, @denfinella?!

I've been trying to use the interactive map on their website and found it rather frustrating, but that beauty is exactly what I need in my life as I try to sort out my Magic Pass plans for the season.

As things stand, my current plan is to visit Leysin, Villars-Gryon, Les Diablerets and Glacier 3000 next week, 4 nights in Saas-Fee from Monday 6th Jan, 9 nights in Vercorin from Weds 15th Jan (hoping to cover there, St Luc-Chandolin and Grimentz-Zinal), 4 nights in Sion from Friday 24th (for Nax and Anzere) and still need to find reasonable accommodation for Leukerbad and Lauchernalp (hopefully one place that will allow me to visit both on public transport) and then to revisit Saas-Fee and the resorts around Aigle later in the season.

Do you have any of your dates and / or destinations firmly in the diary yet?!

We’re heading out to MagicPass land 29 Dec - 11 Jan, and again 28 Feb-10 Mar. Looking forward to visiting some new fields and using some of the smaller places as a springboard for touring. Woohoo!

Will search out your conditions thread @denfinella

@jebroni3_16, I just did a Google image search, but I saw it posted on social media by some of the Magic Pass resorts over the summer.

If the map has the Italian areas on, it's the latest one - they only joined the Magic Pass this year.

Sounds like you're very organised! I'll be out there in late Jan and mid March but will wing it in terms of specific resorts.

Gotcha, thanks!

Am not particularly organised. Desperately trying to scramble a plan together for January / early Feb before my Easyjet Plus membership expires tonight and I lose free large carry-on, speedy boarding and choice of seat (which has been saving me about £100 per return flights).

I think it might be a bit of a stretch to get my plans sorted for March too, so will potentially have to re-join at a later date, but should give me more flexibility for next year's flights then.
