Poster: A snowHead
|
I am looking to do my BASI course in Courchevel at the beginning of December but am having major dificulties trying to find flights to get there.
Ideally I would like to fly into Chambery and arrive on either 2/3 december and return back to blighty on 16th dec.
So far none of the operators flights start running until 15/16th dec which is obviously no good for me and the snowtrain similairly doesnt start running till late december.
Any help with this would be appreciated as would help finding nice cheap transfers from airport to resort.
Cheers in advance.

eng_ch, Hoping to fly out of either Manchester or Leeds Bradford (they are the closest to me) but at a push would pretty much settle for anywhere as long as they get me there and don't cost the earth.
David@traxvax, will look into that one. Thanks for the heads up. Would I have to book the train through SNCF and do you have any idea of the costs?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

stocky, here's the SNCF booking page
Geneva to Moutiers is a bit tricky on the train, by the look of the timetable, Lyon-Moutiers looks a bit better (from memory - I looked into this for getting to VT at Easter).

stocky, a few Euros, train travel in France is very cheap, go to www.sncf.fr there's an English translation, you will need to look at the Rhone-Alpes region and the local train service is TER.
