Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Italian ski schools open before and during Christmas

Hi,
We will be flying to Turin just before Christmas and would like to attend ski school just 23rd/24th/25th/26th. We did this previously in Rauris Austria but from my research I'm unsure as to how they operate in Italy. We are thinking of Bardonecchia , Sestriere or SAUZE D'OULX.

Do ski school in Italy generally operate just before and during Christmas?

My guess (and it's no more than that, based on experience in France) is that Italian ski schools will operate at Christmas just like other times.

We had lessons before and during Christmas in Cervinia and Arabba. I’m sure this would be pretty normal in most areas.
