 Poster: A snowHead

Not a well known ski resort. Does anyone know of a cheap 'n' cheerful hotel nearish to the airport? We need 1 night in Jan before we head up to Andorra.
I've checked all the usual Google results but a smallish family type that is not in the Tour op circuit is really what I want. All help appreciated.

The Airport is quite far out of town. We stayed in the Hotel Medium Comfort when we stayed there, £80 a night for a twin room, quite reasonable rooms.

If you are going to go into Barcelona itself, be very careful of the gypsy women selling you flowers just at the Sagrada Familia - they will steal your wallet - I know, it happened to me. Bitches from hell that they are. Apart from that, Barcelona is very nice, but do be careful of your wallet/purse as it is well known as a place for pickpockets.

jb1970, I got pickpocketed on the Ramblas. I was with a group of girls on a hen weekend and I had the kitty in my bag. We couldn't believe the brazen way they operated, my friends saw who did it and we got the police involved and pointed her out to them - they were aware of the gang but couldn't do anything because the evidence had long since been passed on to someone else.
