Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey!

I'm planning to head Canada this winter with a m8 to play in the snow for the season. the plan is head vancouver before the season for a month then try whistler before moving onto the Banf area.

Anyone got any tips on casual / temporay work as i missed out on the bunac work visas for this year. Ive been looking at accomodation an places like sub zeroo have places for £300 month, does this sound gud? whats it like just sorting ur own accomodation once you get there if your there from the start of the season?

basicly I'm a newbie so any advice would be wicked like Cool

If anyones going to be around over the season i'm keen to hook up and chase some powder... Razz

acidanth, yep, I'm from Durham, and also have an apartment in Monetier-les-Bains. We've been to both Whistler and Banff.

acidanth, we did a tour op holiday to Banff, and DIY'd it to Whistler. Overall, I preferred Banff as a 'real town' and also went dogsledding there which was great, but the skiing in Whistler was better.
