@terrygasson, Yes most of that is correct. To get the code for the group purchase price you join via the “hello asso” website for 12 euros plus a 3 euro donation. I got reprimanded last year when I didn’t add the 3 euro voluntary addition and was reminded to add it next time. Then they send the code for the discount to be used on the Sevabel skipass website. Helpful if you have a pass already that your season pass will be loaded to as you go through the gate at the lift. A relief when it works, a bit like going through the first peage if you have a toll tag for your car.
Edit: It’s 1106€ for an adult and 774€ youth price in 2025-26. As regards using the season pass elsewhere, it refers to places like Japan, South America, some American resorts, and Australia. If you look further back in this thread on page 2 Bergmeister has used the free days in Colorado, well worth doing as passes are a crazy price there.
No requirement to be owner or resident, it’s a group purchase discount. Good luck!

@Perty, i suppose in the sports Association its possible to be a member, only if you live there. Or not?
this way is also discriminatory but i suppose its not so well know that why its still exists and noone sued them (?).
Or its somethling like Association of the owners who have an appartment etc in 3V? then its maybe not discriminatory
by the way this is a big thing in Tirol and Austria nowadays....

Can you sign up for the discount code and get it off the veteran season pass? Sounds a bit cheeky as a veteran pass is already heavily disounted but why not if its possible. It used to be free and still is for Meribel valley and Couchevel valley but the cost of season passes for the remaining part of 3V (yes you need 2 to ski the whole Belleville and Orelle) is greater than buying a 3V veteran season pass - and you would need to carry 4 passes with only 1 being able to be read at any lift!

@mogulski, the last couple of seasons, for the veterans you have had to buy a separate discounted pass for each valley. Friends of the qualifying age describe it as involving a little dance at each lift as you have to reach for the appropriate pass.
I can't recall now if you need a local address (though as we have one I think I used it)-but I know you don't have to actually have to "live" there.@turms2, I understand that by creating a sports association (which has to have over 200 members to qualify as an association) means that anyone can join and therefore it's not discriminatory.

@andy1234, cheers, i signed myself and my two daughters up last night, i paid the 5 euros "donation" at the same time, hopefully i will see if it works for the discount in a few days.
you were right, it did not ask for any residency requirements, only asked for proof of age for my girls to be uploaded, as they fall into the youth group of under 29's, had to scrabble around and find images of passports for them on my phone from previous trips to upload.
i probably didnt need to sign up my eldest daughter, as she is only confirmed for our trip in march, but she may change her mind by the time the cut off date is applied, and for the sake of 12 euros its worth the gamble.
thanks for the heads up yesterday, as i think it is a bit of a steal if it does work for us

Passes bought..1155 euros each with Carre Neige. A couple of weeks ago that would have been under £1000 each, but thanks to Rachel From Accounts it's a shade over.

cheers all for the tip, just bought passes for myself and daughter, decided to splash out with carre neige, for a tad under 1980 euros.
must admit, the les menuires website was a bit frustrating tonight, would get through one stage, then the website would throw me out, and would have to start all over again.
took about 4 go's to get to work, but all sorted now
even though we only have 2 trips booked, at 8 days skiing each time, it still gives us a bit of a saving, as my daughter gets the under 29 youth pass.
though it now looks like that i will be staying on for an extra week at VT in march, as my mate and his boys (tied to uni), along with a couple of other blokes i have skied with, will be there for that week.
plan is for me to stay with them the 2nd week, whilst my daughter and her boyfriend (and youngest daughter) travel back in my car that Saturday, and i will probably go back via train the following weekend.
my season pass will have well and truly paid for itself by then

I'm having a few issues with the website too. It assumes you have an account, is that the same account email and password that you got your code with, or your standard 3V email and password?

@SarahRad and @terrygasson, I joined the group purchase discounted ski pass through this site https://www.clubsportsmenuires.com/actualite/11143
You then click through to the Hello Asso site where it says join and you pay over your 12€ + 3.10€. At that point you supply your regular email address which is where your promotional code gets sent to.
You then have to use the website https://saison.skipass-lesmenuires.com/fr/ if you applied by this route. Once on this site you have to create an account with Sevabel the lift operator (username and password) unless you already had an account with them, in which case you can login with your previous details. For example we used to use the Liberty pass and the system already had details such as our name, regular email address, date of birth etc.
If you didn't already have an account, follow the process to buy the pass you selected, decide if you want to add Carre Neige or not and then press purchase. That takes you to the next page where you would indicate if you already had an account and if you already have a ski pass with the number that you know, because that is what your purchase will be applied to. Lastly you add card payment details to finalise the purchase. Be prepared to authorise the payment through your banking app.
I found it was easier to have separate (Sevabel) accounts for me and the other half. It took about two minutes this year to complete the purchase, practice does make it easier. Hope this clarifies things for you.

This is where it is all going wrong! I have several 3V operator accounts, but not a LM (sevabel) one that i am aware of. When I get to this page it just offers "j'ai deja un compte, je me connecte" and no option to set up a new account. If I click "j'ai deja un compte" and try my email and any of my 3V passowrds they don't work, and it also won't sent a password reset email, it says it will send a reset email but nothing arrives (not even into junk).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@andy1234, cheers, yes i followed the same route as you to join the sport club, then got my codes the other day
@SarahRad, i had a similar situation as you, would not recognise my email and password from original account, and password reset email did not arrive as well.
in the end i created a new account with a barely used email account, this then worked, but several times i went through the process of adding lift passes and carre neige for both of us, then when i then tried to add both of our photos and proof of age for my daughter, i was sent back to signing in!!
i was losing the will to live at one stage when it would not recognise the promo code again, though thankfully through perseverance it did work, so with the lift pass savings i now have a few extra beer tokens to spend in the alps this coming season
when i looked at my account later, it had both myself and my daughters details saved for future use, so hopefully a lot easier next time

@SarahRad, okay i see where you are coming from. Assuming you prefer English, first thing to do after clicking on https://saison.skipass-lesmenuires.com/fr/ is to look top right and click on the union jack next to Mon Compte.
Now scroll down to the various options for a ski pass. You must choose the same one you chose with Hello Asso, if you chose the wrong one as I did the first year, I had to pay again. Doh! So if it was the 3V season pass, scroll down to UNLIMITED and choose Les 3 Vallees. This will show you the next page with the full price pass. Click continue. Decide on Carre Neige or not and then yellow button for Add to Basket. Now you are at the page to add your promo code. In my case I would select I already have a rechargeable card, input my promo code and then click yellow button Buy Now.
The next page is where I log in to my account with sewable. On the right is the yellow button to Continue and create an account. Use your normal email address and create a password.

Aha, yes! I just looked at hte top of hte page and didn't think to scroll down to select what i wanted to purchase, thank you very much!
That would have worked perfectly, if my bank hadn't decided that this was a highly dodgy purchase and decided to block it. I'm sitting here waiting for the code to be unlocked in 30mins so that i can try again, after giving my bank a rocket!
Thank you so much for helping.

Question. How long does the pass take to get to posted to a french address The site says “within 10 days” which is no good for Wednesday. If not when is it ready at the sevabel office- pain in the what’s not as will be a 90min round trip.

So we are buying the 3/7 pass and skiing 4 days so have to use our skiogrande pass for one day. We can use that on Thursday then pick up our passes from the Piste office in Les Menuires- presumably there are buses between Les Menuires and VT runnning? That would save a drive to St Martin which would be our nearest pass office by car.

@Doccam, have you any old 3v rechargeable cards from previous visits?
if so, am sure you will be able to use these, and save a trip to the lift pass office, that is what i have done for our 3v season passes, and previously for other trips beforehand.

@terrygasson I have- at least I have a 3V from Courchevel last season but I can’t work out how to get it onto my account. It says it is chargeable and I’ve used the QR code but that just takes me to the Courcevel pass office website.

If it helps, we have just renewed ours on line. It's not fully intuitive but not hard. You need an account then put in the ski pass card number into when asked if you want to recharge, and then when you get near the time to pay, the discount code. There is perhaps a slight complication in they will want a photo logged on your account so they can see if you are sharing - - - - - and cant remember if I uploaded mine online or at the ticket office as was a few years ago

@Doccam, i used a couple of rechargeable cards the other week, to be honest, it did take me a couple of attempts, as i would get so far (not always the same point) and then get "thrown out", and have to start over again.
finally got it to work, i had to upload photos (and daughters proof of age). am not sure it matters if the cards were originally processed in courchevel, as i have loads of cards from the 3v's, but they seem to have the same number at the start (01-1614), so assume it is some kind of identifier for the region, but i may be wrong!!
as have been mentioned before, it seems to be a case of perseverance
bonne chance

@alti-due and @terrygasson I’m sure it is doable- but at no point in the process as far as i can see is there an option to insert the number of the rechargeable card- and yes they do start 01-1614 so I have got appropriate rechargeable cards. I’ve got as far as https://saison.skipass-lesmenuires.com/en/cart but just can’t find an option to insert that number at that stage or before- and to progress I have to confirm which pass office to collect from. Just can’t see what I’m doing wrong! Don’t worry if you can’t get me any further as I’m sure you’ve got other things to be doing and thanks for the help!

Thanks @andy1234. That’s where it falls down for me. I have a 3v pass but not linked to a previous account and there is no option that I can see to add it in to the new and only account I’ve got. Thanks for taking the time to post though. Mrs Doccam is going to call them tomorrow.
