Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wanted mondo 28.5 ski boots

Hi all,
I’m looking for a pair of boots for my lad as we are doing a bit of a roadtrip this winter.
He’s still growing so don’t want to commit to a new pair just yet.
Ideal 100 or 110 flex and the less buckles the better as he is autistic so would make his life easier.
Anything Technical are happy to do him a pair of liners so will be fitted properly.

@drunken rock monkey, I have a pair of "Head Edge +" size 28/28.5 that I can no longer wear.
I'd say the shells had plenty of life left in them, but they do have four buckles and a strap.
They were pushed a little wider than standard in the forefoot/toe knuckle region as I have somewhat pizza slice like feet! (A liner may take care of that.)

EDIT: actually none at the moment but they do come up a lot!

Might be too small but I've got some 27.5 Salomon Ghost, 2 clip 80 flex going spare.

Ended up buying a new pair of Nordicas.
Callum at Anything Technical was a complete legend and got the boots fitted just right. No mean feat given my lads lack of attention to any situation.
