Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi

Planning a trip to St. Anton in Austria, by flying through Friedrichshaven airport. Having trouble finding transport from the airport to St. Anton. Any suggestions ?

Book a transfer with a tour op (depending on which day you travel, evidently) - Ski-Val run transfers on a Sunday, other ops on a Saturday.

thordur, try the train - there's a station at the airport change in Fredrichshaven. Otherwise there is a pre-bookable bus but can't quite remember the web address, I'll look when I get home.

thordur, we didn't use this but seemed OK price wise www.airport-bus.at because there was 10 of us we booked a Vito in the end

I live across the lake from Friedrichshafen in Konstanz (finally a question about my neck of the woods!!).

Theres a station no more than 100m outside the airport, which is tiny. Basically a hyped-up airfield. Assuming you get the morning flight from London Stansted (you may not having as you live in Sweden) which gets in at 9.50 then get the train - leaves at 11.17, takes 3 hours and only costs €23.40 with 2 changes.
