Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know of any chalets or apartments that they would rent out over the end of March 2007 for about 8 days, preferably from the Friday 23rd March to Sunday 1st April? If so, how much, where is it and how many people does it take? Thanks, Coz

c_Dauncey, welcome to snowHeads. I would recommend contacting the tourist office. Is that week around the Easter Holidays, in which case it may be a bit of a problem getting longer than seven days.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

c_Dauncey, welcome to snowHead .
We have skied Espace Killy around that week the last 2 years and on both occasions have found VDI to be significantly slushier than Tignes, so I would recommend Tignes (also there are less Haw-haw Henry's in Tignes, if you feel like you want to avoid them).
If your party includes "moderate" skiers, go to Val Claret in preference to le Lac because the access into le Lac from the VDI side is a long-winded pain of you are not able/willing to ski Trolles (which even my wife would call an "easy" black) and too embarassed to take the Aeroski lift down.

If you visit www.Tignes.net there are property agents, apartments and hotels listed.

We had a fantastic time this year and stayed in le Levanna hotel in le Lac which is truly slope-side.
