Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Aldi Sud operate in south and western Germany, Austria (as Hofer), UK, Ireland etc.
Aldi Nord in northern and eastern Germany, France, Spain, Benelux etc.
I must admit that while cycling through Germany we have not observed any material differences in products or prices between the two companies. In France though we have always considered that they have a poorer selection at higher prices.

are you suggesting canned tomatoes are unhealthy? Think again. Just because a product is canned, that doesn't make it unhealthy. Personally, I always buy Italian tinned tomatoes, expensive but very good.

Anything that isn’t full of harmful bacteria is “healthy”. But does that make a “healthy diet”? (In comparison with “pastries, pate, cheese, and confit duck”)

@abc, What do you think is wrong with tinned tomato? There isn't anything added to the ones available in Europe.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@abc, well, obviously an exclusive diet of tinned tomatoes isn't healthy, but I imagine the poster eats other things too, both canned and not canned. rolling eyes

It’s what’s taken out during canning.

Actually, there’s nothing “wrong” with tinned tomato. But in the context of “heathy diet”, it’s no more “healthy” than what the OP list as “unhealthy”.

You lose some vit C and carotenoids in the canning process, but licopene levels are concentrated so it's swings and roundabouts.

Crickey… you’re over thinking somewhat. Fine, for you i will specifically say ‘low saturated fat, low salt, and low sugar’, too much of those things is unhealthy, hence why i try to avoid too much, only enjoying the rare odd treat. rolling eyes
