Poster: A snowHead

Auberge de Moissons almost every time for us when we aren't in the campervan. Ideal spot in both directions for travelling from the NE.

Thanks too @Hells Bells I seem to remember you mentioning this sometime ago but normally too early for us to stop. This time it should work nicely

Impressed with Auberge des Moissons thanks all.
Planned late arrival no issues and clear instructions sent by text. Spotless room, secure parking, all very helpful. We had already brought food but the boulangerie could be useful next time

@Casa where are you staying in 3V and when? Mr mogulski and I will be in Meribel about 9 weeks over the course of the season doing childcare for our youngest granddaughter so both her parents can work as ski instructors.
We drive out from Scotland so our overnight stop is much further north than you are needing. I am not quoting it here or it will be full whe we need to use it but they have a locked car park which is great.

Having been born in Sussex before it was split into East & West, I'd recommend a stopover in Poligny (which has a vet) if you're en route to the Alps, or returning. And, yes, I have taken dogs to & from the Alps via this superb stopover, and used the vet there. Hotel de Paris. Restaurant La Sergenterie.

We stayed here https://maps.app.goo.gl/NYpSK2vw9QGACnSa8 last year. It's a bit out of the way in Semur en Auxois. Fantastic hotel in a cute old town. We stayed on the way back and drove via Paris but it didn't hurt the journey too much.
