Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anyone already mentioned the magnetic tabbards that the children use .

Yes, but thanks I wasn’t aware of how they worked. Just saw one in Austria at half term.

As an adult male, needing to be careful when the bar comes down, I think the name “Kidstop” is genius.

@Idris, That may be the theoretical case, but its not enforced, I have not bothered pulling the bar for short chair lift rides when on my own on enough occasions in France and Austria and no-one has ever said anything. No real reason for not pulling it down, but a sudden stop won't cause you to fall if you are large enough to sit in the chair properly

At Les Deux Alpes I saw the liftie shouting a couple of times when the bar hadn't been lowered. Once was at me was when I was on my own and a bit slow getting the bar down Embarassed

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Rather embarrassingly, I fell off a chair for the first time yesterday. I think what happened is that the other person riding it caught his skis on the ground as it was leaving: the top of the chair carried on while the bottom stayed fixed, and we were ejected forwards (this all happened more easily because we had backpacks on). The bottom of the chair then swung forward and hit me nastily on the helmet: I was mildly dazed & returned steadily to the accommodation, missing the best runs of the day (not that I would actually have been able to enjoy them, or necessarily even complete them safely, in my mildly concussed state). No other concussion symptoms, fortunately.
