Loads of toileting "implements" behind a glass screen in the urinals...Alte Schmeide, Saalbach/Leogang
Just such a great ambiance, restaurant and loos...Kraller Alm, Leogang
Then of course there's the slide next to the stairs to get to the loo....Hospitz Alm, St Christoph am Arlberg

I've not personally experienced them, but I believe there are some toilets (in Austria?) where you can sit on your "throne" and view the mountain scenery through one-way glass windows.
The urinals overlooking the Soelden Cablecar (as featured in the James Bond movie Spectre) must be on the list.
A true “loo with a view”

Top of the Almbahn in Fiss has one of those.
I remember urinals somewhere that were a big red pair of lips - a bit odd tbh.

Balmalp in Lech… sort of… while at the stainless (actually they are ceramic), you can look out over Zug and the Madloch-Zug run. Similar idea at the mountain restaurant in Sonnenkopf and the BBQ Restaurant on Tritt.
The toilets at the base of the Zugerbergbahn are very smick and warm. You feel tempted to stay a minute or 2 longer to warm the hands after doing Madloch-Zug in -14C.

No brainer! Emilio Comici Rifugio on Piz Sella, Selva. The 1m Euro loos.
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.
snowHeads are a friendly bunch.
The ones in all/most of the restaurants in Ischgl. Always soap, cubicles not poky where you have to turn sidewards to close the door and taps which work with a sensor. Always clean and tidy.
And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Somewhere in the southern Dolomites (possibly Pampeago but not sure) the male toilets / urinals were accompanied by a full-sized wall painted with beautiful ladies each holding magnifying glasses, rulers, measuring tape, binoculars...
Not sure if this belongs in the "best" or "worst" toilets thread...
You know it makes sense.

There’s a slide to the loo in the Grander Schupf in st Johann. Been to the resort twice and still not visited the slide so it’s on our must do list next month!

I think those big red lips are in Aux Enfants Terribles in Peisy-Vallandry, Paradiski. Big Rolling Stones style lips with chopper style handlebars for good measure

But I suspect from their positive fandon the true answer is Japan.
This end of - when magazines go to photograph them btw Sun Valley are nothing like the same.
@Dave of the Marmottes, I would agree, and you are correct about Sun Valley, as it is a sister resort to Snowbasin. The lodges are very similar, done by the same architecture firm and decorated in sort of a “Proto-casino“ style. Definitely not my architectural style, but that’s OK, the cans are comfortable. Meanwhile, I guess I have to mention here that some of the urinals at Serfaus have video screens on them, but maybe that belongs in the bad toilets thread.
@Bones, maybe you were up at Lookout? Otherwise the lodges are very much the same, almost cookie-cutter.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Scooter in Seattle, visted two differing base lodges, although the lodges were the same style, rest rooms were not as fancy IIRC.
Also they dont feature promenantly on the internet like Snowbasin's, which were designed to impress for the Olympics.
Heated seats, always clean, plenty of loo roll (and seat wiping stuff if that’s your thing). Plus you can get a wash and blow dry whilst you’re there

Anywhere that, if the loos are on a different floor to the restaurant/bar, there is a lift rather than stairs. I think, iirc, there are a few on the Sella Ronda like this and it is so damn civilised.

Best loos I can remember when skiing were at the Hospiz Alm at St Christof. Complete with spiral slide to get there.

There’s a lot in Ischgl like that. And the stairs are wide with proper rubber matting on the steps.

Never sat on a 'loo with a view' but the 'best in category' out of the resorts I've been to so far has to be Obergurgl/Hochgurgl and Sölden in Austria. Nederhutte in Obergurgl had a super clean loo with candles in (granted I didn't go during peak apres ski time - we only went in for lunch) and there was one in Sölden that provided a range of feminine hygiene products - there was even suncream in the basket!
Now what I would love is to go to a ski resort where they don't make you traipse downstairs in ski boots to go for a wee!

+1 for the Hospitz in St Christoph...
I thought of that before I opened the thread.
Back in the day there was a little stable on the way down, complete with some goats and a sheep.
With a big glass windows so you could see the contented warm animals.
@denfinella, Im sure I've see that somewhere.

I was there a couple of weeks ago, did that run and went into the loos at Zug and thought they were the nicest pub lic toilets I had ever been in in my life. Nicer than most houses I've lived in.

@Bones, just returned from both Snowbasin and Sun Valley I shot both restrooms (which isn't easy )
A small thing to be sure, but I'd call those pretty similar...and nice.
I don't even remember the restrooms at Grand Targhee, but the important stuff, the skiing, smoked the other two...
