Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Smith Goggles - IOMAG

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have Smith IO MAG S goggles with a few different lenses which I want to replace.
I am trying to identify which VLT % lenses I have.
In the bottom right eye of the lense is small print which says
ChromapopSN
ChromapopST

I am trying to correlate these references to the language widely used (example ChromaPop Sun Green Mirror)

Thanks in advance if you can provide a translation table to help identify what I have here

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

At a guess I'd say SN = Sun and ST= Storm but you'd have to look up the specific colour to get the VLT.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Have a look at this page

Think @Dave of the Marmottes is right, also everyday lens options available.

@blueoak7, can't you just look at the colours on the Smith lens page? I find them (reasonably) obvious

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

@blueoak7, as @Dave of the Marmottes, said, in the early days of chromapop they only did three lens colours called sun, everyday and storm marking the lenses with that, and not all the various different coloured versions of those lens tints you see now.

its here with VLT's

@Zorrac, makes sense, ours explicitly came with lenses labelled Chromapop Green Sol-X and Green Sol-X Blue Sensor (iirc).
