Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva to Sante Foy advice please!

Booked flights to Geneva! Eh oh! Found a decent bus transfer to Sante Foy however we get dropped in the village not at the resort. There is a free bus ride from there to the resort but we arrive after 5pm and the bus has finished by then! I thought there w might be taxis? But can’t get hold of any.

Anyone know what we can do?

Unsure of specific advice, but taxi seeming most likely. Could try searching with "Bourg St Maurice" as lead with most commercial activities for region based there.

I've been down from StF in the evening to collect some of our party that arrived the same as you, in the named village rather than ski station Very Happy we had driven there and so had a car available.

Taxi drivers do call it "StF station" as location extension to StF village. Hopefully you'll get something to complete the journey.

@Sav, Taxi is the only way unless you know someone who could come down from the station . Perhaps ring the tourist office for advice .

How many of you? If 4, car hire might be a good option. But advice to ring tourist office is good. It's their job to get people up there to spend money.

@Sav, Welcome to Snowheads. I would consider getting off the bus at Bourg St Maurice railway station. (It will probably stop anyway). There is a tact rank there.

Depending on day and time you could also contact cool bus, if they have a minibus that’s not at GVA, they will probably help.

Check Altibus. The last service from BSM is at 17.00 (on Saturdays). As others had said, best is to get off at BSM train station and either take a bus to STF station or taxi.
