Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

For anyone already booked or thinking of being near Venice, Fri 3 Feb.

Would you like to wake up at 1500m + altitude on Saturday 4 Feb and be ready to ski from Arabba early morning? Saturday is usually relatively quiet, as main changeover day for 1 and 2 weekers.

We’ve got a few shared rooms with private facilities reserved on a B&B basis. Already 11 people signed up but could accommodate up to another 6, depending on room sharing arrangement. Option for set dinner @€25, in good hotel restaurant, incl very short taxi to/from. Or full menu choice at extra cost.

Will link in with shared private transfer from Venice Marco Polo, if needed. Planned to depart VMP about 17.00hrs but could be flexible. 19.00hrs depart likely to be latest time cut off point.

Approx. total for shared taxi VCE to Hotel, set dinner Fri eve, shared room, breakfast, taxi transfer early Saturday to centre of Arabba,

€150.

In practice all will pay fair share of total costs, no additions or charges for organising from anyone.
