Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Christmas snow? and holiday home...

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Snowheads;
I'm not sure this is posting. i havent been on for a while but when I last was, I remember it being easy to post a question. Today I am struggling to see where I start a new post. Has something changed? Do I need to make a donation to Snowheads before I can post now? if so, how much? Anyway, I have two questions today:
(1) Does anyone recall how reliable the snow would be in Meribel & Morraret at Christmas? Do you think the blue runs are likely to be ok and running? (2) I have a vague recollection that there is somewhere on this forum where you can mention if you have a holiday let available to let out to . Is that correct and if so, where can it be posted? Many thanks.

You've done it, @JoandFamHall, you're on air. The red light is on.

Re Mottaret and Meribel snow at Christmas. Nothing in life is guaranteed, but in my experience (from the St Martin side) the blue runs on the main routes in and out of the resorts (all equipped with snow making) are the ones they focus on- putting down a base from early Dec, provided it’s cold enough and even if there is snowfall. The caveat this year is the impact of the drought on snow making reservoirs plus energy costs, so they may economise and not use the cannons on more widely. Fingers crossed that there will be some snow anyway…there usually is!
