Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Car park at Ardent is free, but that's not actually Morzine skiing. The car park down by Intermarche is free, but not sure if there are limits on staying all day, and it isn't available on Wednesdays when they have the market down there. You would need to walk up from there to get to Pleney or SuperMorzine lifts. Car park at Nyon is free. Car park under Pleney charges, and so does the one at Prodains for getting up to Avoriaz.

If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone rather more local than I am will soon correct this!

Also, maybe better to post this in the Portes du Soleil thread in the Snow Reports section.

@Charliegolf,

@karin, has it spot on.
Free parking at Nyon for Morzine slopes.
Free parking at Ardent for Avoriaz slopes.

Navette/shuttle buses are good if you are on a bus route and don’t ‘need’ to use car.

There is a free car park opposite the Nant B&B in town (‘U’ & the ‘P’ bus pass this car park regularly to Plenny if it’s the top of the Plenny slopes you need to get to for ski school.

The last 2 seasons there's been free parking by the ice rink / skate park.
(used to be limited to 5h, but since COVID one of the machines is covered up and there's no enforcement, only that vans / RVs get moved on after a day).
Just take the free pedestrian lift and you're at the SM gondola.
This scores well over Ardent because you don't get muddy boots at the end of the day in April when the snow is melting.

Oh yes you're right, I forgot about that. Iirc only if you buy at the window on the day, in which case they give you an exit barcode (but only if you know to ask for it wink ). Having a pre-paid pass doesn't count though. I think I'd rather pay than risk queuing every day for a day pass...
