Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hero mt vs react

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Last year I ski for two weeks on the Rossignol hero Mt ti. I really liked the ski. A friend said if I liked that ski I should try the rossignol react r10 before committing to the hero.

Can anyone tell me the difference between these skis and what I should expect. They sound very similar

Many thanks

In case you don't get an answer from somebody with experience of both, these are my thoughts as somebody who hasn't skied on either of them.

- If possible, you need to compare them directly for yourself.

- On paper, they look very similar (Poplar wood core; dual Titanal laminate; LCT and Radius mostly the same), but with the React having the Flex Tip, a mm wider in the Tip/Middle/Tail and a cm longer in each length. The React is also a little cheaper and thus might be a touch more forgiving and versatile.

- If you like the Hero, the chances are you will like the React - though the ultra safe thing to do, is get what you have skied.

- One option is to get whichever is cheaper.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

OFB is undoubtable right in his advice to you, and you should listen.
