Hello,
53yo male solo skier here.
Just putting it out here early if any groups or other solos need an extra person to meet group booking reductions for Alpine ski trips this winter, I'd be happy to be considered.
As long as there are Glasgow or Edinburgh flight options and costs aren't crazy, I can likely make it work.
Dates/locations aren't key but Jan/Feb preferred.
Experienced skier, happy to ski in small groups or solo.
Mrs and kids don't ski, ski buddies have petered out over time.
Haven't been skiing since 2018 but knees still good and wish to go again!

50 year old with my wife and teen kids in tow here. I'll be in Les Arcs 1800 from January 7 to January 25th. Then I'm off to Chamonix for a week without the full tribe. Our ski travels have seen us ski with people from all over the world in many different countries. We'd be happy to meet up with a Scot. 
*I'm an all day skier that stops for lunch but doesn't have lavish meals at that time of the day. And I don't crack a beer until very late afternoon/early evening. Normally have a couple before dinner and then a vino or two. I'm keen on being pretty fresh for skiing the next day so if you're looking for a party companion I can't help sorry.

bumped into these guys - https://www.snowclans.co.uk/ - at the ski show, you can join a group or put in a "wish list" and if somethig crops up where spaces need filling and it suits your requirements you get notified. no experience of using them but seems like a good idea and I've signed myself up....

Hi Klammertime, I am 61 Yr old ( good skier). My wife can't ski so I usually ski alone or with a few friends in Kronplaz (dolomites, Italy). I don't have any offer to reduce the booking price but oly people who like skiing together. If you like to join us let me know. We are flexible about the dates.

Hi Fi (fabfi88), at Xmas I can't but as of New year I am free and my friends are too.
At the B&B where we usually go there are rooms free if you are interested. Let me know which time is best for you.

I know of a chalet in La Plagne area where you can get your own room and no single supplement. £600 for a week in January. So far 2 other solos booked in and me thinking about it. The other rooms might be taken by couples, groups, families etc. there's no knowing...nice to know you wouldnt be the only billy no mates though. If youre interested let me know.

Try YSESKI. They only operate in Val d'Isere. Take a look at Chalet les Chardons. It is in the centre of the village & has lots of single rooms - with no single supplement. It is a former small hotel & you'll always find people to ski with. I've been several times on my own and have always had a great time.

I am in Cham 31st dec for 5 days. My friend who was coming with me is not inured. I’ve been Cham once before. I still desperately want to come so have decided to still travel solo. So looking for groups to meet up with. I’m no pro skier, not an off piste skier. Love a bloody good laugh, socialising and new experiences.
If anyone is there and wishes to meet or kniw of any group I’d be so grateful as I’m so nervous if I’m honest doing this alone.

@Crazycat, pop your details in the snowbuddy so other snowHeads know you'll be there.
You already know where you want to go, so rather than hiding in a 'generic' solos thread like this one, why not start your own thread titled eg. "Anyone in Cham, 31st dec for 5 days?"
