Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bored, so here's a DIY souvenir idea I dug

When you are an avid skier, car guy and road sign nerd with $60 burning a hole in your pocket, what do you do?

Well, I had some signs made, as shown in this terrifically composed photo. These are official, full DOT-spec signs. They won't print just anything; I wanted "Time to Rip" instead of Crystal Mountain, but whatever. As to the origin of the state highway symbols, Utah is the Beehive State, and that's George Washington's silhouette on my home state's signs.

They're in my garage, and are visible from the street when the door is open. I'm assuming people think I stole them, and they might have been correct about that in the mid 70's Very Happy

Next up is an effort to legally obtain one of those Italian signs with a chained tire that says In Caso di Neve o Ghiaccio, which is how I learned how to order ice with my beverages...

Any other oddball, or interesting souvenirs out there? Obviously its a pretty low bar to clear!

Very nice @Scooter in Seattle,
And what a tidy garage... I'm ashamed of my garage.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Anyone else concerned by what looks like a "Caution Radioactive Material" sign...?

It's the US, they have the right to bear arms. The founding fathers obviously meant tactical nukes, not muskets.

@Mjit, well done! Needed that for when we had PT tendons x-rayed in a building I had something to do with. I'm hoping it will serve as a deterrent to any nuclear physicists that may break in...

...as for@philwig, all I can add is +1.
