Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

4 man drag in Portillo Chile
Portillo ski resort in Chile has installed a new lift this season. Interestingly though, it's a four man drag-lift in the style made famous by Poma...
Called "Laz Vizcachas", the new Va et Vient ski lift is 470m/1,542 feet in length with a vertical lift of 220m/722 feet.
For anyone familiar with the area, it is located between the Las Lomas and Los Canarios lifts. Portillo now has 13 ski lifts servicing 35 trails.

Now I'd like to see that done with 4 boarders!

Its always god damn turists that screw up the lift and knot up the cables. Only those in the middle can get off when the bar is still running. Please practice this on condor, not on Roca. Once the bar stops, wait for the slack to make the bar slide down. The person on the side with the string gets off last. Disembark edge first one by one, in order, starting with the edge that DOES NOT have the pull down string.

Boarders are fine, as long as they put the disc in the crotch and dont try to arm it. Boarders thake the edge they are more comfortable with depending on if they are goofy or reg.

They got a couple of thoses lift there alllready notably the Condor , there quite a bit of fun but not as bad as you might imagine Very Happy
