Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone ridden this? Seen a great deal on the board, wondering how it compares to the Jones hovercraft/ultracraft.

Sale price is already good, but also they have one with cosmetic damage for €250

I'd be wary. Not a fan of the "we've made this one EXTRA STIFF" stuff. Really dislike the Jones Ultra-whatever range. Not fun to ride in anything other than very consistent conditions.

Maybe check out an Amplid Souly Grail if you're looking for this kind of board - I think they have an end of season sale going on on-line. So much fun. Balances the stiffness with incredible dampening and a 3D nose to smooth out the turn entry. I can't get enough of it!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@stevomcd, cheers for the reply, I have to disagree on the Jones ultracraft though, i demoed one for 2 days on every kind of snow and it held up great, however I prefer the ride on the normal hovercraft......

And yet you prefer the ride on the normal one... wink

They ride OK, it's just more fun to ride something less stiff. The super-stiff stuff just sends all the bumps and chatter straight to your knees.

I was riding with one and a half ligaments instead of the usual 4 in my left knee at the time, so my tolerance for things that made my knees hurt was very slim. Also reviewed the Weston Backwoods Carbon around the same time. Again, way more fun.
