Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val Thorens - Les Menuires for Easter
Hi everyone,we are planning a trip for the first week in April. Never been in the Val Thorens area, I understand Les  Menuires is 1450 m a.s. l, and Val Thorens is 2300 m...
Is it likely to be ski in/out in the Les Menuire?  Much much cheaper? or better and more convenient stay in Val Thorens?
Thanks a lot
m.

@MontyMM, Les Menuires is 1850-2050m depending on which part of the "village".

It's our go to place for Easter skiing with friends. The Bruyeres gondola gets you to the top of the mountain and down into Val T pretty quickly.

Les Menuires has always been a lot cheaper for when I've looked. Hotel on B&B basis ski in/out with pool etc. is about £5-600/room/week.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@MontyMM, I think you have mixed up Les Menuires with st Martin. Les Menuires is high and will have a good snow depth, but come Easter it will be catching at lot of sun and will be slushy in the afternoon.

Even Easter weekend (the 17th) I'd go for Les Menuires and la Masse
